Along the way, the friendly trash-collecting robot who has always known what he was made for gradually begins to understand what he was meant for. Finding Nemo director Andrew Stanton returns to the helm for this family-friendly sci-fi adventure featuring the voices of Fred Willard, Jeff Garlin, and Ben Burtt.

Get Smart (2008)

The Love Guru (2008)

While Pitka's methods are decidedly unorthodox, they may be the only means of ensuring that the Toronto Maple Leafs win the coveted Stanley Cup. The Maple Leaf's star Darren Roanoke (Romany Malco) is in trouble. His estranged wife has recently begun dating L.A. Kings star Jacques Grande (Justin Timberlake) in a vengeful effort to send her husband's career into a tailspin, and when Roanoke starts to falter on the ice, the whole team starts to suffer. As their visions of leading the Toronto Maple Leafs to the Stanley Cup are quickly going up in flames, team owner Jane Bullard (Jessica Alba) and Coach Cherkov (Verne Troyer) enlist the aid of the world's best-known relationship expert in restoring the peace between Roanoke and his wife, and getting their team back on the track to the championships.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008)

The Bank Job (2008)

"The Bank Job" was inspired by a real-life 1971 London bank robbery that was never solved. A band of thieves tunneled their way into a safe deposit vault, taking millions of dollars in cash and jewelry. The robbery made headlines for several days, but then all reporting stopped as a result of a government gag order. In "Bank Job," the crime involves murder, corruption and a sex scandal with links to the royal family. Ultimately, the thieves are among the most innocent involved.

American Gangster (2007)

Ridley Scott, it seems, is not only an inspiration to film school students but world renowned rappers as well. On Nov. 6th Jay-Z's tenth album will be released sharing the same name as the major motion picture, "American Gangster". As well as being inspired by the movie Jay-Z also inserts snippets of dialogue from the movie itself into several of his songs. Here is "Ignorant Shit" off the new album, which also samples "Big Poppa" by The Notorious B.I.G. and "Between the Sheets" by The Isley Brothers.

The first installment in the "His Dark Materials" trilogy, based on the Philip Pullman fantasy trilogy, The Golden Compass is about a girl who travels to the far north to save her best friend, encountering shape-shifting creatures, witches and other fantastical characters along the way. In the second and third books, the action moves between parallel universes as the girl meets a boy from our world and they join forces to overthrow the repressive authority that rules everything.

The Dark Knight (2008)

Hong Kong Police Chief Inspector Lee’s (Jackie Chan) latest assignment is to escort and protect Chinese Ambassador Han as he delivers a major address before the World Criminal Court Summit in Los Angeles. He rushes to the scene of the crime to help, but instead interferes with Lee’s pursuit of the culprits.
